B.T. Joy's poetry is primarily free-verse, however he has also experimented with many distinct forms, including haiku, tanka, cheritas and ghazals. He reads poetry widely and is particularly interested in the spiritual and mystic poems of the Middle and Far East.
His horror fiction, on the other hand, is interested fundementally in strong characters interacting with bizarre plot-lines. They tend to be strange and unusual stories with
an interesting mix of psychological and supernatural elements.
